White 5 door in daylight - Blackseries - 14-05-2011 10:22pm Don't think I've seen photos of a White 5 door in natural light before. It looks good. http://lockerz.com/s/101606698 RE: White 5 door in daylight - Kermit - 15-05-2011 02:09am It has still got a coupe like profile: http://lockerz.com/s/101608651 RE: White 5 door in daylight - Wicksy - 15-05-2011 02:21pm Is that a Pure ![]() RE: White 5 door in daylight - Blackseries - 15-05-2011 02:27pm (15-05-2011 02:21pm)Wicksy Wrote: Is that a Pure I think it's a Prestige - the chrome at the bottom of the windows (it doesn't stand out so much as with dark colours) and the front vents are silver rather than a sort of bronze colour (Pure) RE: White 5 door in daylight - paulus599 - 15-05-2011 02:45pm (15-05-2011 02:21pm)Wicksy Wrote: Is that a Pure No, definately a Prestige. Chrome Evoque badge, chrome trim below glass and that 'bright' trim strip along bottom of doors (what they call the side fender blade). RE: White 5 door in daylight - paulus599 - 15-05-2011 03:32pm Thanks Blackseries, I would never have picked up on that. RE: White 5 door in daylight - Blackseries - 15-05-2011 04:28pm I think if you parked a Prestige and a Pure next to each other most people would notice that they were different but probably not realise what it was that made them so. It’s a very subtle difference but overall it makes quite a big difference. The good news is all the bits that are different come off and are easily "converted" so if you don't want the Prestige upgrade - you can just upgrade the look. The devil is in the detail. Speaking of which, does anybody else think the RED Evoque badge on the Dynamic isn't very "Range Rover" - plus the fact it clashes terribly with Firenze red. If I went with a Firenze red Dynamic - and I still might - that would be the first thing to come off. Yes, I agree, looks a little after market and boy racer'ish to me and will definately clash with the Firenze red. Time to get the hair drier and dental floss out methinks ![]() RE: White 5 door in daylight - XFullFatTim - 15-05-2011 05:20pm Aluminium ingot supercharged badges are for sale on eBay if really want Range Rover style badges ........ But they are also Range Rover prices too! Just because you drive a car with that famous name on the bonnet and boot immediately makes everybody think you are one of the super-rich I can assure you. Make sure your car is well hidden if you ever have tradespeople round to quote you for any work at the house - they tend go forget you spent all your money buying the car and don't have much left to spend on anything else! |
