So if you are looking for a decent small car to take offroad then you could do worse than taking a Vauxhall Corsa................ Note there are no comments from Land Rover and the ludicrous policy of many dealerships to refuse owners like for like loan cars. I have been offered a Fiat Punto as a loaner when a Range Rover TDv8 Vogue was in for service. It makes me see red when dealers have a fleet of the very latest cars on their "demo" fleet and then offer you a car from a different maker that doesn't even compare to a Land Rover, although I may have to rethink if I am offered a Vauxhall Corsa in the future!
hahaha
good for her...
I see the Dealer has posted this response on their facebook page:

"
Dear Lisa,

Following your letter and comments regarding your recent visit. I can only apologise that we have not come up to your expectations on this occasion.

We do pride ourselves in looking after our customers, but have obviously fallen far short of that on this occasion. I realise you may not feel as if we have looked after you, but I would like you to consider using us in the future.

Once again I am sorry we did not come up to the high standards we normally deliver.

Yours sincerely,

Kenny Curran,
Head of Business,
Kentdale Land Rover.

I wonder if LR prompted him to post that..........
Too little to late from the dealer and good response from the lady's selling dealer.

Right, cancel new RRS and buy a Corsa = save £60k, we don't have a dog or sheep so all should be OK.

Prompted!, if LR thought anything about customer service they should have had a gun against the dealers head.

Ladies and gents I give you the Seat Mii S A/C 1.0 60hp

No central locking
No Bluetooth
No electric windows
No electric mirrors
Not even a clock

3 days I had it while my DS was in the bodyshop. They did pre warn me though, and can't fault their work.

I witnessed a family try to put a child seat in one, I don't know what they were expecting but I bet that wasn't it. The last time I used Pentland Perth I got a Corsa.
Can beat that, this is what I got when the Evoque was towed away last year. 2007 Polo which stank of smokers, wet dog and working mens club!

Blimey, so much for modern cars, even my 1985 Metro VandenPlas hadcentral locking, electric widows, clock then velvet seats & real wood veneer!!
On a slight tangent, our local LR dealer also offers lifts to customers (into the town etc.) if they don't want to stay in the dealership to wait for their car. They have a small fleet of cars for the purpose - all of them Mercedes. On asking why, the driver told us that it was because they were much cheaper to run and more reliable!!

If you have any time on your hands it would fun to take it well off-road and give them a call out when it won't go any further Very Happy
This made me laugh this morning as ive got visions of these loan cars stuck upto thier axles in bog in the middle of nowhere.

Sounds like LR has a lot to learn in terms of customer service and promotng thier cars.
Go to Audio/BMW and you always get one of thiers even if its a lower model.

Perhaps its a ploy to show you just how lucky you are driving a LR and keep you coming back.
