According to Autocar this week Jaguar will be launching a £55,000 5.0ltr Supercharged V8 (with the same power out put as the RRS SVR) powered XE-R in the autumn. Autocar reckons with Jaguar's prowess at ride quality and with that engine it will give the M3/M4 and RS4 a hiding without rattling your teeth out on the bumps! And for the 8 speed ZF gearbox fans it will have that too (I can assure you it is a thousand times better than the ZF 9 speeder!)
