Just found in the settings of my RRS that one thing that caused a lot of comment here a couple of years ago was that it wasn't possible to adjust both heating zones simultaneously............ well LR must have listened and my RRS has a "Synch" functionthat means that if I adjust the driver's side temperature, the adjuster for the passenger side adjusts too, to the same temperature. Hopefully the 2016 Facelift RRE will get the same facility. I can have the setting unsynched too and the control for it is in the settings on the 8" display touch screen. One thing I'm not so keen on though is that instead of pressing a button to activate the heated front seats I now have to access the 8" display by pressing the "control" button on the dash and then take my eyes off the road to look at the screen to see where I have to touch it to adjust the seat temperatures......... or synch/unsynch the climate control.

That seat heat function is the same as the F Type, we pick up in London Saturday and I have been reading-up with the on-line hand book. Seems crazy to swap a simple button push as the Evoque with having to go into the screen menu.

Set off tommorow morning over night in MK then into the city first thing Saturday to do the swap. Very mixed emotions at the moment, excitement followed by 'oh sxxt, I've just blown my old age savings'.
Looks like you might get some top down motoring in on the way home Tony, better find some A and B road routes north from London to Gretna. One thing I want to do before I pop my clogs is to drive the west side of Loch Lomond road then on up across Rannoch Moor and through Glencoe al-fresco at full chat! Have a safe trip and enjoy the run north
DS has it also, a nice feature.

Thanks Tim, Looking fowards to the climb north up Shap with the 'Loud Button' switched on, stormed up that hill years ago in the Cobra, I can still here that 350 Chevy V8 bellowing now - no, wait a minute, thats the Tinnitus!!

Will post some photos when we get home. In some ways sorry to say goodby to the Evoque but once we have had some fun with the F Type we may be back with LR and look at the DS when the new engines are proven and it has 5 seats, plus revel in the lower running costs!. Saw my first DS on the road a few days back coming in the opposite direction, did a double-take as at first I thought it was a RRS2, looks much bigger on the road than the one I saw in a showroom
Well did not get to London, bags packed and loaded ready to leave home at 6am, got up from the sofa and the floor came up and smacked me. Trip in an ambulance and the rest of the day wired to various monitors. Hope to get out of hospital by Sunday, still have the Evoque, wife has cancelled the F Type. Will have to wait 2 to 3 weeks to see a cardiac specialist to say if there is any real damage.

To make matters worse the wife said the Evoque has just displayed an error message Active Dynamics Fault. Apparently it clears when she switches everything off and after a few minutes switches on again. In word a really sxxt day.
Very sorry to hear this and wish you a speedy recovery Tony.

Tim, so you don't feel so badly, my 2015 Prestige has the same system for the heated/cooled seats, I have to press the dash button then go into the 8" screen to select the heat or cooling activation/setting changes. Annoying to have to take your eyes off the road to turn them on/off/adjust. Not a good design feature if you use the heated/cooled seats a lot (which I do). Another improvement would be to have them come on in the same setting when you are only out of the car for a few minutes, my other ride does this and it's a nice touch not to have to reactive if you've just ran into the store for a few minutes. Especially, as the screen takes a while to "settle" after starting and then the rear view camera comes on further delaying access to the screen so you are almost always already driving before you can access the screen to reactive the climate seats...Please Range Rover read this and bring back the simple three position center stack heat/cooling buttonsSmile

Tony, I don't know you but wish you all the best and a speedy recovery! We've been dealing with heart attacks and surgery here and it's not fun at all. Get well soon and Cheers!
Tony, take things easy and all the best for the future.

Not sure what to say re F-Type and Evoque. Other than let your wife make the decision.

Best Wishes.
Tony, dont sweat the cars, just concentrate on getting better and looking forwards to enjoying your retirement!
