So I've bought my personal plate on DVLA, but now I need to get the plates made. Any recommendations? Any advice on which look best?!
If you are buying them for a new car ask the selling dealership, otherwise Halfords is as good as anywhere for 100% legal ones
Always get mine from here.

lots on ebay, the legal highline ones look fabCool
I got the dealer to do mine
Have a look at the pressed metal ones which are legal in the UK,
something different and give a nice 3D effect.
Got mine form Proplates (http://www.proplates.co.uk) with a nice GB and Union Flag design instead of the ridiculous EU stars. I'll need a GB sticker if I venture over the Channel, but well worth it to be seen not to endorse the pathetic EU.
Why will you need a GB sticker, I thought the idea of having Eurostyle GB on the plates did away with that?

But he clearly said he didn't have the Euro-style GB plates, but opted for a Union Flag instead.

That's right, I opted not to have the EU plates as I don't intend to go abroad in the car; however, if you do cross the Channel unless you have the 'EU' plates then you do need a GB sticker.
