On the top-middle part of the interior mirror, there's a green oval indicator(/sensor?). I remember it has been always 'on' with strong green light but I don't see that any more.

Can anyone tell me if you see the green light is 'on' or not at all?
(please see photo attached)

p.s. I have US vision package that includes high beam assist.
Can't say I noticed the green light, but I'll check mine today/ tonight.
Same here, never seen a green light on it but I have seen the mirror face go greenish due to an idiot behind me driving on full beam and even the privacy glass couldn't provide enough dimming! Usually I struggle to notice any auto-dimming effect because of the privacy glass.
I've never seen it go on with a green light either...
I also agree that I usually struggle to notice much difference due to the privacy glass.
Thank you for those who replied. I might have been wrong. Oh, well, as long as it works....
Checked it today and didn't see a green light. I really like the self-dimming function.
I wish that LR would extend the auto"dipping" to the "wing" mirrors on the doors, you can opt for it on RRSport, D4 and FFRR but not on an Evoque.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but on my Evoque, the side mirrors can be set to lower when reverse is selected. It's set via the menu accessed by the steering wheel menu.
That is the reverse dipping so you can see the kerbs and not ruin your alloys!
