Has anyone done this half day at Skipton?

Thoughts and Comments??

Thanks Tom
Yes- Great time was had. Drove an RR Sport - staff fantastic - I had previously been to centre at Pockton Castle which I felt was 'poor'
Great countryside - sure you will enjoy
Yes done it twice, enjoyed both times very much
A recommendation, if you can upgrade to the full day do so.i haven't done that LRE but have done several at Dunkeld and a couple at the Solihull factory LRE

Tom

Was at Skipton (Coniston Cold) yesterday afternoon had a great day with my son
Excellent instructor John from Seaton Crewe, we declined the road driving to concentrate on the off roading tracks Wow you won't be disappointed and you won't believe what the Evoque is capable of doing its a real eye opener

We too drove up from Teesside a really nice drive through Yorkshire with lots of evidence of the Tour bike race

Enjoy the day
Hi,I recently attended the LR function at Skipton the day before I took delivery of my 2014 SD4 2.2 Pure Tech 5 door.
I invited a colleague and experienced the on road and off road in the Evoque and I must admit that I was totally amazed at the off road capability of the Evoque.
Not only do the staff demonstrate the capabilities of the car but then it is your turn to complete the same course that the instructor has driven over with their expert assistance whilst you are driving.
It was a very enjoyable half day with excellent hospitality by all of the staff at Skipton.
Would recommend this half day to all interested drivers of off road cars.
Thanks for all the replies!

Sounds great, I'm from teesside myself an was thinking about staying over maybes making a few days of it.

Do you stay over or come home?! The drives not too bad at 2hrs like you say through nice scenery!!
We didn't stay over but there is a large hotel on site set in the grounds which extend into the LR off road tracks it looks like a nice place from the outside, you may well get discount if you mention that you are on the experience day

Only took us 90 mins each way and the afternoon session was just 3 hours long so back home for 5.30pm and as I said earlier it's a really nice on the country roads a real pleasure to drive in the Evoque
