Well after my long flat run to the UK I managed 50mpg with the new 9 speed. Today I broke my record with a return of 54mpg over a short 50 mile trip.

Now I don't drive slow or fast but I do hit all the speed limits and stay there but 54mpg I am more than a happy bunny. [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]
That's nearly double what I average :-/ However I don't mind too much about economy as don't do too many miles per year. Or at least that's what I keep telling myself.
Thats pretty good am keen to see what mpg i can get with the petrol, anything close to 30 will be better for me
You "hit the speed limit" Smile)) You mean you just "touch it" ? Wink It looks you are one of the heavy "obstacles" on the roads Smile)) Happens all the time,... I wish you happy driving. BR : Miha
Miha.m, I always drive at just above the speed limit, cameras only work at above 5 mph the legal limit. [WINKING FACE]

Those who drive slower then allowed are the ones that really wind me up [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]
It's supposed to get 11% better fuel economy, I'm not sure how normal driving you are getting 100% better fuel economy than 2012-2013 models.
I'm with Stadt on this one.
It is very very easy to get mid 40's mpg on the 2014 SD4 9 speed auto.
My best ever (I've done 2,600 mile now) was 52.8mpg but my total to date average is 46.4mpg

Regards
Mark
OK so the SD4 Auto MPG issue is resolving - now how many rattles to the mile are you getting?
The 2014MY 9 Speeder is beginning to sound like it should have been the car that LR had on 9th September 2011....... bit like the 3.6 TDv8 was the engine that LR should have launched the Mk1 RRS with.
Tim, not one rattle to date [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]
Considerably better than the 32 my manual is averaging.
