Ok, so i have been informed that my car will be ready for collection on either Friday evening or sometime this weekend, the main question i have is there any thing that i need to look out for on collection?

I know that i am going to go in there like an excited school boy and not even notice any defects and thought having some kind of check list would be good.

Thanks in advance,

Jason
Err, you're not registering/collecting before 1 March are you?

I have asked the question about it being on a 14 plate and am waiting on an answer, if not then it will be the 1st of March or after for collection.
Hi
I'm sure all will go well.
We had a problem of the bonnet not being properly closed couldn't tell at the time.
But when we passed a HGV the bonnet and wipers nearly took off
I did think what have we bought !!!
As this was bought for my wife
But back to the dealer a slam of the bonnet and all is well.
They apologised said never seen that before!
So enjoy the pick up
The wifes loving it..

I have been told that if it is here on Friday there is a VIP event for all of the 14 plate cars at a swanky hotel just outside Aberdeen that we will be invited to. Fingers crossed it will be here by then as there are people from Land Rover coming up to do the handovers. And the question of will the car be a 14 plate is yes as we won't be allowed to drive away until after midnight.

Lol, i would have agreed, we where ignored on our first visit and even looked up and down like we did not belong in the showroom, then i complained to the head office when they called after asking for a brochure after that they could not have been nicer and even gave me a (within reason) good deal.
Shakey there is a stickied thread here http://babyrr.com/forum/Thread-Vehicle-Handover about what you should look out for - the cars only get a 2 hour PDI, most of which I suspect is the pressure wash, before hand over and that's not on a march 1 or Sept 1 delivery date!

We got the same treatment from both audi and land rover dealer, first question they asked us was "You do realise this costs $$$" in the end i went to Frank Ogg in Elgin really friendly and great service.
