Following a 'restricted performance' warning coming up on my 2011 SD4 5 dr Dynamic, I have now been told by my dealer that I need a new turbo having originally advised that all it needed was an 'overlay wire'. Slightly worrying, but they told me that they haven't had to replace a turbo in an Evoque before and so it might take them slightly longer than normal to do the work ......not sure if that fills me with confidence. Land Rover Assistance (who were great and 10x better than the dealers service dept) have provided me with a MY13 prestige. All fine except creaky front suspension and electric front windows that stick and need to be pulled up manually. Not sure the intention to replace with a MY14 in Feb 14 is looking like such a good idea!!

Exactly the reason to call LRA when you get a problem rather than go to dealer direct as you get much better service.
If only we could deal with LRA all the time - not sure my dealers knows the meaning of customer service!
Good to read that LRA service has improved because not long after the change over from Green Flag to The AA running the service we were getting loads of reports of lack of specialised brand technical knowledge and "unprofessional" attitude to LR Owners.
