Hi guys,

If anyone is going to the Geneva Motor Show, can you please take heaps of pictures and also if possible try to measure from the top of the back seat to the rear door to give us an idea of minimum size of the boot.

Also would be great to find out how big the fuel tank is.

Cheers
On one of the pdf's with stats on it I read that the fuel tank is 65litres, cannot help with the boot size - I doubt that anybody will be able to get into the boot to measure that dimension on a show stand - I bet they get stopped by the "goons" watching for rival makers "spies" trying to gather info for competitors trying to gather info.
Thanks for the fuel tank size. I had read that it was 50L but 65L would be great.

I simply used a brochure last time to measure something. Just needs to be rough, a tape measure may look a little suspicious.

Cheers

I went to the Paris motor show with a tape measure as I wanted to make sure my dog would fit in the boot. The chap on the stand from Land Rover was very helpful and even held the boot cover whilst I measured. Another chap from an aftermarket alloy wheel company was measuring the wheels at the same time - so I think they are quite used to it.

I'm sorry I don't have the top of the back seat to back door dimension, but from the back of the rear seat (when upright) to the back door its 30.5 inches and the space between wheel arches is 41.5 inches.

See the picture of the shape - hope that helps.

I'm going to Geneva - but not until next week - so will take some more photos then but I took quite a few photos at Paris (of the Coupe) - like view out the back window from the drivers seat – location of the cameras etc stuff that I didn't think would be in the publicity info.

I have a border collie and hence the reason for the question. When the rear door is closed and the rear seats are up how much room will she have. So the 30.5 is the measurement at the floor?

What is the view like out the rear window from the drivers seat?

I have been told that I will be invited to special viewing in May-June as the Melbourne Motor Show is not till July and they need to place orders before then in order to meet Sept delivery.

Cheers

We have a one year old Border Collie and she will fit in just fine. Our current "Dog Car" is a Golf Plus and she will have more room in the Evoque than the Golf. I will get the exact dimensions when I go next week.... and yes 30.5 inches is the measurement at the floor.

Remember I have only seen the Coupe .... but its not that great - however we have a Fiat 500 and to be honest its not a lot worse than that so the 5 door should be fine.
Here is the view from the drivers seat photo (LHD) - hope you can see it OK.

Hence the reason for a rear view camera.
Whilst you are measuring things any chance of measuring the height of the front lower grill. I need powerful lights as we drive the back roads allot on the way to the holiday house. Last thing you want to meet is a Kangaroo. I have Cibie Oscar HID SC's on my current truck, they have saved me a couple of times as they allowed me to see a Roo coming and take action to avoid it.

What I am looking at for the BBR are these. http://www.rigidindustries.com/product-p/rgdl06.htm Would either set them in to the bottom grill or possibly behind the grill.

Cheers

No problem - I'll clarify exactly what you are after before I go on Thursday / Friday. Internet comms are a bit hit and miss where I staying at the moment.
There are some pictures of a Colima Lime 5 door that was on the LR Geneva Motor Salon stand here on the Range Rover forums http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic5002.html
