The paint is taken from navy warships of ww2 used to break up the shape so you could tell which direction is was traveling making it harder for Uboats to sink them.
Looks like it's running the FFRR's 22" style 6's painted black.

The wrap job is called Dazzle Paint, and yes it was used in WW2 but also in WW1 for battleships, makes them hard to see against stormy skies

That picture shows the natural resting place of the FFRR.

As for the paint, best not let them out like that in our winter then.
Evo-king, you've never owned a FFRR? My 3.6ltr TDv8 FFRR and RRS gave almost the same over-all fuel consumption as my Evoque and with a 100ltr tank I could cruise from Stirling to Southampton/ London and back to Brum before I needed to look for a filling station. In local driving I could go 3 weeks between fill ups, so they both saw filling stations less frequently than the Evoque which needs 7-10 day visits to a filling station, but it's much more fun to drive than both the 3.6TDv8's
