How is this meant to work?

I've been driving around and still yet to see it come on!!
Touch one of the shift paddles on either side of the steering wheel.

Oops. Sorry about that. Too quick to the trigger...

@lngrn36 - musher has manual.

Musher - as you drive, a little green arrow appears to tell you when to change up a gear. As per other post, the arrow is in the bottom left of the central panel between mph & rev counter.
From manual

GEAR SHIFT INDICATOR
The gear shift indicator illuminates briefly at the recommended gear change point (upshift).
The shift indicator will not illuminate while Cruise control is active and is not being overridden by pressing the throttle pedal.

Are you driving with Cruise Control activated?
not that I no of how can you tell??
The cruise control indicator will appear on the drivers console (rhs)

Bit hard to explain the symbols here, but good move to flick through the manual.
