After looking at the press shots, I couldn't locate all 17 speakers in the upgraded system and I don't know which ones are deleted on the standard one
1 in the middle
3 on each front door
2 on each rear door (or where the door would be on the coupe)
I believe there is one on each side right behind the rear seats on some kind of shelf
a sub somewhere?

so that leaves me at 14 speakers... where could the others be?!

btw, if anyone has any impressions on how each sound and how they compare, please share too!

The upgraded Meridian is quality,even better than my FFRR Harmon Kardon and that was very good!

The sub is under the drivers seat, the other two you mention are not on a special shelf in the back, they are built into the rear tops of the rear suspension towers

The 'standard' system is also very impressive which is more than enough for most I would say unless your an audiophile ! It is also very impressive giving surround sound presence when viewing dvd's on the front screen, which I think is very cool!
