The boot itself, yes, but if you don't order the spare wheel there is extra space below the boot floor that you can use.
It's a considerable amount of space, nice to stow bottles, umbrellas or other small things that would otherwise roll around in the boot.

After viewing both, it does not appear that the Evoque boot space is 164%(575/350) of the size of the Golf, when measured like for like.

As the RRE boot looks similar in size (perhaps 10% bigger?), it's more likely that the Golf figure of 350 litres is to the parcel shelf, whilst the RRE 'cheat' figure of 575 litres is to the roof.
"...just measured one up and its 1m wide, by 0.75m deep, and .45m upto the parcel shelf which is a capacity of 337litres or so..."

I've just measured Evoque 5 d boot at the base: 1.10m x .85 m x .45 m .TOTAL capacity =420 l (maybe a little bit less, due to passengers seats being not vertical)

Stop commenting on the boot and let the rest of us have some piccies - could very well be the 1st non Dynamic on the forum.
The subject has come up before, here.

Basically, very few manufacturers cheat when stating boot size. But LR have on the Evoque. This also explains the difference in boot size between coupe and 5 door, because of the coupe's lower roofline.

I'm wondering if those 420 liters don't also include the space under the floor too...
