After 5 years its tread time to replace my original Michelin Latitude Sport tyres - they have been useless in snow so I'm looking for year round tyre recommendations as I'm not wanting to do seasonal tyre changes but do want to be able to get about in snow.

Michelin said for 245 45 20 I would need to have two sets of tyres so I'm open to brand and model suggestions. I don't mind the tyres being bigger profile if the performance is better.

Grateful for any recommendations, suggestions. Thanks in advance

Scorpion Verde All Season 245/45V20 (103)

Shop around, they're about £150-180.
Thanks Phil. Much appreciated.
Scorpion Verde All Season 245/45V20 (99)

They're significantly cheaper than the 103. The difference is in the weight limit - you only need 103s if you are going to load up your Evoque to over 3000kg or if you are going to do a lot of off-road driving, as the sidewalls will be slightly thicker (the downside being that they will also be louder and less economical).

Is this the Pirelli fitted as standard on some evoques ? Sure I have them on rear of mine still
Yes the 103 is the LR OEM tyre.

Don't fit 99, under load rating a tyre can cause wear issues and insurance issues.

Thanks I'll check exact tyre ratings after work
The 99 is official LR OEM for the Scorpion Verde. It is not underrated (they are both way overrated):

LR Tyre Approvals TOPIX

The 20" tyre is usually delivered as Michelin (99) or Continental (103). Rarely it comes with the Pirelli All Seasons (99), or Pirelli Winters (103).

Another alternative are Continental Cross Contact LX Sport (103) which is an OEM on the Disco Sport, along with the Pirelli (99).

I would get whichever is cheapest, they are obviously both fine.

That's what I thought. I looked into it when purchasing a set of SV's for my one. In fact, the 99V's are specifically made for our cars and that is why they are marked up 245/45/R20 99V LR. The 103's are not marked LR as they can fit other vehicles.

To be fair, the 103s are LR marked as well.
