I see on the LR website http://www.landrover.co.uk that there is an imminent Special Edition coming - the Landmark Edition - odd name for it as LR often uses Landmark or Metropolis for the last cars before production stops........

Agreed about the previous use of this name. Looks like Land Rover are now broadening its use out (in this case to mark a landmark) as the Evoque Landmark is to celebrate 6 years of production, 600,000 units sold (and it'll be priced at £39K so coming in under the £40K and higher VED point).

So that'll be the model without any of the desirable extras then............... no heated steering wheel, no pano roof, no heated seats, no nav, no heated front screen, Hal;open headlights, cloth seats, manual mirrors.............
Better still, according to this report.....see here http://performancedrive.com.au/my2018-di...urbo-2523/
the MY2018 models will be receiving a much higher output petrol si4 with 213kw & 400nm plus a twin-turbo SD4 Diesel with 177kw & 500nm.
0-100kph times for both are impressive....around 6 seconds.
Those are the engines that are options for UK Discovery 5 and RRS.......... I wonder if the forthcoming Si6/SD6 will also fit..............
and the Velar too.
Apparently, this will be available in Aus as well.
