project colour code

here is my new unregistered and as yet undelivered RRE Pure in standard livery

Here she is today (21 Nov 2012). Still unregistered but in the body shop. I collect her from the dealers on Friday and it should be transformed

Finished pics here this weekend. It will look like a fully colour coded Dynamique but quite unique. I have a great dealer who has facilitated this and I collect the finished car Friday PM

Took delivery of the new Evoque at 3.00pm today Very HappyLaughing
Here is the finished article in colour coded custom livery - and brand new. She's delightful. My wife can't stop grinning. Must confess, I'm tickled with the new car too. It drives just great.

RE: project colour code

is that Taggarts, Glasgow that are doing the job Muff?

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Hi Tim. No. It's Shields. They have a link with a specialist Land Rover services company who is owned by a friend of mine. He is doing the body work. Most colour coded RR's you see in Glasgow will have been done by this specialist. He also hires most of the LR and RR range from his sister company out of Edinburgh and Glasgow. Happy to name and recommend if appropriate

RE: project colour code

I thought I recognised the buildings in the background which was why I asked. I won't ever cross Shields threshold after they declined to sell me a top of the range Disco2 V8iES - had an appointment and was totally ignored when I turned up. I waited 30 minutes and in that time the receptionist and the sales staff were well into the packets of crisps and Irn Bru's and too engrossed in their Daily Records at lunchtime that I left and have never been back. Have some neighbours who brought a Freelander1 from them and after the first service they never went back either

I have heard they had issues of this nature some time back. I stopped using them with my RRS and drove all the way to Parks Ayr for service etc. However, as far as I know they have changed a lot of staff in recent times and the sales chap I am dealing with, David, is a top bloke and has been a pleasure to deal with as have the other members of staff that I have met so far. They have been very accommodating. Funnily enough, another friend of mine would pay people not to use Taggarts as he had similar issues there that you encountered at Shields. Time will tell...

Very Individual enjoy, the rear view looks much better, personally I prefer the Dynamic.

Great pics, very interesting to see it with it's panels off! thanks!

Cheers Phil. What the rear pic doesn't show too well because of the light is the underside of the bumper beneath the silver detailing. This is in Santorini black. The horizontal trim left to right between both rear lights is also santorini black high gloss. The camera shot does not highlight this but it looks stunning in the flesh
