is it really hard to maintain evoque?

Hi, all
I am a new member here and would like to get my hand on a 2013 Evoque.
But i am a little hesitant because of RR's reliability. Is this a big issue at the first 4 years while it is still under warranty?
I really like how it looks and drives, but i do not want get myself to deal with maintenance or repair that often.

Any of your experience or opinions are more than welcome!

Any brand of vehicle can be hit or miss as for reliability.. As you said, I wasn't too worried since it has the 4 year 50k mile warranty. I've gone just over 7k in the last 6 months and have had absolutely no issues.

Thanks for sharing your experience. When i saw people's complain of non working keyless function and blah blah within one week. I got really worried. I do not want to deal with this issue while it is still new.

I've had mine for about 9 months and no issues at all. As previously said, there have been horror stories about pretty much every brand. And forums like this one are very helpful but for every issue you read about here there are a lot more success stories that people never write about. I for one would recommend the car to anyone.

Had mine 11 months and 36k miles, had all privacy glass changed as faulty, one breakdown due to frozen fuel filter, numerous rattles, suspension creak, faulty indicator, software update and evoque is currently in for a new gearbox which has been faulty since taking delivery....

Say no more on build and reliability

The problem here is that those with issues shout loud and often (and rightly so), but those without issues relax and enjoy.

Apart from three punctures and the false alarm issue that has happened a few times since xmas, mine's as sweet as a nut.

4 Year Warranty?

Don't recall needing a gearbox on any car in 25 years and probably 30 cars before though...

Had clutches and flywheels on two German prestige cars at 10k miles so can happen and I am convinced mine are teething troubles due to rapid increased build due to popularity and some of the problems are landrovers supply chain.

Just lost confidence but sure once jobs are done all will be fine...have to be as need to keep to 100k miles

Have a fl2 sd4 auto on a 12 plate at moment and I do miss the evoque, evoque in my opinion is so much nicer.

Yes. 4 years or 50,000 miles... Whichever comes first. Is it different for the UK??
