front fog lights not turning on

sooo, turn headlights on , turn on front fog lights , green indicator fog light on dash board, no fog light illumination. Haven't checked fuse ( yet but am assuming fog light wouldn't show on dashboard if fuse had gone) .
What say you forum members ?

I think i'd still check for a fuse first if you're that way inclined, just to save a trip to the dealers.

Problem solved. Dealer initially checked but then requested car booked in so bumper could be removed etc.
Turns out fog light power lead not connecetd .
Coincidentally a headlamp unit ( Halogen ) was replaced a few months ago as it stayed jammed on high beam position.
Am guessing when they did the work they forgot to reconnect the fog light lead.
Ho hum .
