Ambient lights?

Just a small query not sure if its a problem or a setting issue but the ambient lights in the Center console or just in front of the console forward of the gear stick are not coming on with the rest of the interior lights at all ,tried fiddling with the settings and no joy ,what can be wrong? Anyone had a similar problem?

They should be coming on with the rest of the ambient lights; settings are on the display panel for color and the three levels of brightness. They have nothing to do with the rest of the interior lights such as map or footwell lighting which are controlled separately by the roller switch adjacent to the cargo hatch release.

If the LED's in the door handles and other ambient lights come on and change colors as you wish, I'd guess you have a loose connection in the center console area at the dashboard.
