Wrapping - good idea?

With all this colour discussion I'm starting to get worried!!

Anyone know a ballpark for having your car wrapped? Is it effective or does it look rubbish? I had hoped they'd do a matt black/grey in the evoque like BMW are doing, so maybe I could get my evoque wrapped if I really hate the silver??

I think I read somewhere that the cost was around £900 to do a full car wrap, so not too bad if you ever fancy a change. Only problem with it is that it will only cover the external panels, so all the shut lines, under bonnet etc. will still be in silver.
From what I have seen they look very effective, the Focus RS500 was done that way (in matt black) and that looked great.

Still in the process of getting mine changed from fuji to Firenze, however failing this I will probably wrap mine in red or matte black however this will invalidate the paintwork warranty as told to me by dealer! Sorry I meant stealer! Lol

Firenze red has now been confirmed for me! Smile. Therefore I won't be getting the car wrapped.
