Widest spacers possible with factory 20" wheels ?

I know inevitably someone will comment on why I shouldnt use spacers on my evoque, but respectfully - that's not the purpose of this thread.

I am interested in knowing what the widest spacers would be that I could put on without rubbing using the factory 20" wheel and tires. I would like to achieve a look of being flush to the fenders like the lrx concept as opposed to how hollow the current wheel wells look.

I researched a bit and found that h&r & eibach make evoque spacers

i have the 20+20 mm spacers from H&R (30mm is max !!)
(also the 30mm loweringsprings) but the 18" wheels

Have you ever tried your spacers with factory 20" wheels at all ?

How wide are your 18" tires ?

I just don't want my 20's sticking out past the fender well

OffT - but are there pics of RRE's with spacers on - would be interesting to see the experter result...

I am sure if the cars were better with spacers JLR would have fitted them in the first place.

the dealer democar had 25mm installed with 20".. TUV approved and nice. No problems while my 6 hour test drive.

Was it on the factory 20's ? And do you think it could have room for 5 mm more Without the tire sticking out past the fender? I was thinking of going with the 30 mm spacers front and back - like the h&r ones.

car was eqpuipped with OEM style7 20" and H&R spacers.
The salesman told about 30mm on a customer car wich fits fine but , in his opinion doesn´t look good. My car gets 20 mm front and 25mm at the rear when it arrives.

Hmmmm... I was thinking about 25mm front and 30 rear, but decided to go with 25mm front and back. The front fender on the evoque has a bigger gap than the rear though, so although it is highly counterintuitive I almost wonder if you should run a 30mm front and the 25mm in the rear.?

The rear fender bulge as well as the wheel opening is smaller than the front, and the more you stand and look at it the emptier that wheel well looks! -- I have already gone from 19" to 20's but the gap is still there. Hopefully 25mm spacers do the trick.

Do you think that 25mm will stick out too far in the front ? or did you do that just to achieve a more staggered look ? Did the salesman say why he thought that 30mm didnt look good ? Was it because 30mm stuck out past the fenders?

And do you know if the car he was talking about was lowered ? - I was hoping to leave mine stock ride height (Damn I miss the air suspension in my last sport)

I will use 20mm ( not 30mm or 25mm) front because of the wheelmoving while steering. Had some probs with my old Saab and custom wheels ( they had "integrated" spacers, don´t know the english ..in Germany we call it " Einpresstiefe" , it means the wheel stick out without extra spacers).

25mm with OEM Wheels don´t stick out at the front or rear of an RRE.

the salesman told me the TUV confirms the 30mm spacers ( therefor , they can´t stick out the fenders, otherwise the TUV won´t confirm), but it looks to much like a racing car , which have these extrem wide distance between the wheels on racetracks (DTM). The car with the 30mm wasn´t lowered.

If you do both ( lowering springs and spacers , or perhaps 21-22" wheels), i think you could get in trouble because the rims could hit the inner fendertrim while steering or going over bumps .
I will use the stock ride height too... its an SUV
