I'm not sure how big or rigid the mudflaps are on the Evoque, but if you're going to do any 'real' offroading then some mudflaps tend to get caught and ripped off very quickly

If they are anything like the mudflaps on my Freelander1 and various FFRR's and RRS's they will be all but indestructable off-road, they look stiff and brittle but I never lost one offroad in any of the cars that went before my Evoque

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Cleaned mine the other day and noticed the mud flaps were quite flexible near the base even though they're a moulded shape, although if you caught them on something sticking up offroad you could probably still do some damage to them at certain angles.
