Very interesting Tim, not as comprehensive as I might of expected, and notice it doesn't say "check vehicle registration and tax disc"... sorry yts!

Well you learn something everyday Phil. Pity they didn't think to include car tax and number plates as it might have meant that I'd been insured on my drive home. For the record they have now supplied me with a new set of plates (2 days after delivery) but they left it to me to remove the old ones and put on the new.

stratstone UK have since been in touch for general feedback on how my experience went with them and despite the fact that I'm laying on a sun bed in Tenerife I took the time time to tell them exactly what I thought. Since then the dealer principal has contacted me by email and suggested that we talk upon my return. Any thoughts would be appreciated?

Too hot for me to be honest. I'm sat under a brolly as we speak keeping in touch with the world over the Internet. Thank god for the iPad.

In the Roca Nivaria, Playa Paraiso. Clear skies, a bit of a sea breeze as we are 20yards from it and my iPads telling me it's 88 in the shade. Cheers YT

Hi yts, enjoy the sun and turn the iPad off...

Don't call this advice but, If it were me i'd just tell them the facts from the experience, he's the principal so he should investigate how this happened, unless you feel you want something more from them... like a freebie (some mats, first service free etc etc) or something like that, up to you to state what you feel would reduce your annoyance. An apology would be appropriate since you didn't get stopped etc.

We came back from the Bahia Del Duqe last week, fantastic time. Amazing food, staff and resort surroundings.

Lovely hotel. You'll love it. Just remember to get sozzled on the Moet in the morning and have the lobster for lunch.
