And then you have to organise repairs hire cars etc etc

It happened to me on my last car, 3 days old (11 years ago). Keyed along one side. I never got it fixed, it never happened again to that car. But I take solace in what goes around will come around. They will get their come-uppance eventually. (I like the thought of it happening to them and they then knowing what it feels like).
