RE: Towbar Cycle Carrier.
We went for the Atera Strada DL to carry 4 bikes as it came highly recommended by colleagues. Have only used for 3 bikes so far, just clamp it on, load bikes and go. It locks to the towbar and each bike can be locked on too. Has a great sliding mechanism to get access to the boot with bikes still loaded. Was about £400 from roofbox.co.uk.

Try Mottez http://www.tesco.com/direct/mottez-a018p...s_211-7946
I have had Thule in the past and recommend Mottez. Build is just as good and a lot less expensive.
This is the four bike carrier attached to my vehicle. Does everything the Thule does ie Tilt for Boot access.
