RE: That hard ride ((
We find the Freelander (17" wheels) has more compliant suspension than the Evoque (19" wheels + magnetic dampers). However the Freelander rolls more, is ultimately slower on tight twisty bends.
The Freelander also emits a loud bang from the suspension on the rebound on sleeping policeman at anything above 20 mph, whearas the Evoque can do around 25 - 30 mph comfortably.
All in all I far prefer the Evoque as a drivers car and I can choose which one I take most days.

RE: That hard ride ((
The Fl2 shouldn't bang going over sleeping policemen, I had two and none of them done it.
I do agree th Evoque is More for the driver than Fl2.
