RE: Television/radio

Welcome Really,
As the others have already said, it's normal.
Years ago you could have a 10w radio/tape player running when washing a car, but with all the modern electrical equipment which powers up once you press the start button + the 825w sound system all running on a lightweight battery. So before the battery runs below its cranking voltage it shuts down any system not needed to start the engine that's why it will only give you 10 or 3 mins.

I thought it was 10 minutes, My Dynamic was. That is one reason that helped me decide to sell my Dynamic Lux while the price was so strong & buy the Pure Tech as having the TV for the purpose I wanted it for was pointless.

Came Home On 02/03/13 Pure Tech In Barolo Black/Cirrus Trim with Bespoke Firenze Ascents + Numerous Factory Options!!
Also :-

Rover 25GSi - 2005 Everyday Car.
MG ZR-Express Van - 2005 Special Factory Order (Literally a one off).
MG Montego 2.0i - 1990 Shows/Sunny Days.
MG Metro 1300 - 1983 Being Restored!

So in short, you can't watch the TV/DVD while driving and you can't watch it while stationary. Oh well, i'm sure the wife will enjoy it Laughing

RE: Television/radio

Sounds silly right saving battery next you think its a mobile phone or something. In my little golf I was able to watch tv with the electrics on no problems. Hows about this novel idea fit a bigger battery LR.
