I like!

However, I think I would only go down this route if the same could be done to the other shiny black bits.
The main problem would be the cover over the centre console. Do you think it would be possible to cover that?

Ordered 17/2/12 Dynamic SD4 Auto 5dr, Mauritius Blue, Pan roof, 20" style 6 (gloss black), Vortex, Ebony Headlining, Ent Pack, Heated St. Wheel, Homelink, Pr Glass, Auto Dim r.view mirror, spare wheel

That's the only place that I have that shiny black piano look.

After further thought, yes I believe you could make the console cover work as well.

RE: Small mod with carbon fiber vinyl

I'd definetly consider doing this if the centre console cover is do-able.
Would also like to cover all the ally look dash inserts etc, as I like the darker look and it would tie it all together. I was not willing to pay LR £200 for the privelidge of having the gloss black strata inserts.

Looks great, I had Carbon on my Focus RS and it can work with moderation......

Had a Pure TD4, Fuji White - now have Dynamic SD4, Fuji White 9 Speed auto with Verve Interior - let the new project begin!

Tim where did you get that at? I wanted to get something but similar to the wood on the dash instead of carbon fibre

RE: Small mod with carbon fiber vinyl

I bought a piece from these guys:
Got Signs
gotsignshouston.com
(713) 526-2828

I bought a piece large enough to make two (just in case). Wink
I bought the thickest the had available. Applied it in the afternoon sun around 85 degrees. Cleaned the area with alcohol swabs to prep and used xacto knife to carefully cut and outline. It wraps nicely up under the edge of finish the look.
I think the gear area is enough. Like Griff says "moderation" is best..
