Side mirror indicators

Having had my Evoque for less than a week now, today was the first time I have had time to give it a good check over, pleased to report all appears ok with nothing obviously wrong. Although I do have a couple of questions. It would appear that with the indicators on in daylight the door mirror ones are only visible from certain (two?) angles, is that correct? and above the rear quaterlight windows there is a gap of about 3-4mm between the rubber seals, is that normal?

The bit about the seals has been raised before on the forum if I recall? Don't think it has been a big issue generally, but don't recall the specific outcome. Worth a search back though.
