I have been tracking my ship on marinetraffic.com since it left England ... And for the past day it's been reporting "vessel out of range".. Somali pirates??? It was tracking so well and now it hasn't reported its position for a whole day!!

Not to worry its normal. Once it hits the Atlantic they don't have coverage of the ship. They can only track the ships when it is close to land.

Its been 2.5 weeks since I ordered my Evoque and as you would imagine the wait is killing me.

How long did it take after placing the order for people to receive shipping/delivery dates, etc?

You can only start tracking the shipping info once the car is built as u need the VIN to track the cargo. Yes it's a long wait! Hang in there.....

Any idea how long does that take from the order date?

That's a tough question and it depends on yr dealer (what allocations they have in the coming months) before they can assign a build slot for u. Best to enquire with the dealer on the expected build date.
