Service Contract

Hi Folks

I was looking into taking out a service contract on a three year old Evoque. Questions are
Do Land Rover over a service contract and if so how much?
Is there any point using main dealer when an independent would be cheaper?
Has anyone any experience of LR service plans?

Thanks in advance

John

RE: Service Contract

They were offering them with new Evoques, but worked out expensive (£45 a month if I remember), probably be cheaper going independent.

RE: Service Contract

Thanks for. that Phil can independents do updates etc. The price which covers three services is around £1k. or £42 per month for two years.

RE: Service Contract

I think they can if they are an Approved LR service centre. I think Doug on here took his to an indepedent

Based on what i've paid for 2 years servicing just taking it to a dealer (and asking for a discount), 1K sounds dear to me, but you are in London and have heard of dearer prices there.

See this thread about servicing longer term

RE: Service Contract

Just done some research with an independent services are £223 10 and £290.19 both plus VAT. To be fair not a great deal cheaper than quote from Land Rover which included courtesey car and the mot. Total inc. from Indy £883.66 plus the mot at £50 each.

I was expecting Indy to save me hundreds over two years with mot it will be more!
