S04 Paint damage
Hi all
Our Santorini black ed4 Pure (pure pack and tech pack) is at the dealers, awaiting our collection on Sat (after dealer has prepped and added roof bars and cross rails I hope).
We are wildly excited. Have also been lurking on BabyRR for a long while now picking up tips. All your contributions have been much appreciated.
I already have my first query. Following good advice on here I've registered on Topix and viewed our car by its VIN.
At the foot, under inspection, it has an entry: S04LR - LandRover Customer Vehicle Visit Report - SO4 Paint Damage.
Followed later by others inc:
JLR 16 92 10_1E - Range Rover Evoque 5 Door Silhouette
JLR 16 75 10_1E - Customer Personalisation Record
JLR 13 22 10_4E - New Vehicle Handover Record
Which I'd expect (we're having a personal reg put on).
Should I be worried by a poss paint damage report, look especially closely on handover, or would it have been rectified as if nothing had occurred? Perhaps it hasn't?
Any ideas?

It sounds like it got picked up for paint rectification in the factory - don't worry about it, I know mine had paint rectification done too - and I know what to look for as well - it looks perfect to me.

Perhaps you should ask what was rectified so you can look at it closely and decide if you're happy with it.

Look very closely at the pain issue, mine was delieved with paint issues. Not sure how it got through QA really.
