RE: Roof Rails - Black or Chrome

Just installed gloss black roof rails on my Fuji white 5-door with panoramic roof. It blends perfectly with the gloss black pillars and with the dark glass on the roof.

Easy DIY project, took less than an hour.

Not sure if it will sway you, there is someone selling silver roof rails on ebay for £50 (postage is an additional £20), they are for the panoramic roof, not sure if you have that.

I saw that, aren't the rails the same for panoramic \ non panoramic, it's just the finishing kit that's different?

RE: Roof Rails - Black or Chrome

Yes, the rails are the same, not sure why he's selling the rails as well, probably doesn't realise the rails and the finishers are separate parts and if he's ordered for the wrong roof, he just needs to get th correct finishing kit. If he doesn't realise his mistake, someone is going to get a bargain as the rails which he can still use are the more expensive part.

Edit: looking at it, he seems to sell a variety of LR parts rather than for his own car, so may not be wanting to use them himself. In that case, it will be a bargain, list £400+.

RE: Roof Rails - Black or Chrome

For what do you need rails? For everyday usage? When you will need them, then put on the roof Thule system, it costs 500 EUR Thule box included!!! Its less then rails itself I think. And your babyrr will stay as siply nice as it canSmile
I will do it this way...

RE: Roof Rails - Black or Chrome

Can anyone verify for me whether the roof rails extend over the panoramic roof? I need rails for my bikes and am considering having a custom retractable roof installed.
