Reliable?
Hi! I am about to order an evoque and wanted your thoughts on reliability. My mom's 2008 sport supercharged had some problems. Had to be towed a couple of times. Those who had their evoque for 6+ months can you chime in if you had any issues, how long you have had it and how many miles do you currently have? Would you buy another?
Thanks a bunch!
Casey

RE: Reliable?
No mechanical "issues", never needed a tow (which you should never do to RRS or Evoque as it will wreck the transmission, they should be put on a flat bed instead of being towed any distance) - mine is almost 13 months old (launch day delivery) and 11,600 miles, most definitely I would buy another. Never had any issues with the 2 RRSports or the 2 Range Rovers I have owned other than an occasional rattle or a "not the car's fault" flat battery on the Evoque this June
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Reliable?
Just come back from a 650 mile trip, the car performed flawlessly. It's great to drive, suited my intended purpose perfectly and I'm very pleased to have it. No problems after 10 months.
Edit: I would definitely buy another. I'd like some more power but the Si4 has a decent turn of speed when you need it.

RE: Reliable?
No issues here on reliability. Nearly 11 months, 7k miles.
No problems either with the past 3 Freelanders. Early models had some clutch issues (manual cars).
Wouldn't hesitate buying another LR/RR!

RE: Reliable?
Mine is the Si4 and 9 months old with 4900 miles on it; no mechanical issues.
I had one very minor paint blemish that was repaired and a rattle that was fixed.
I would most certainly buy another, it is a great all-rounder.
