Right, thanks for those recommendations guys. I think what I'm going to do is give a few of the dealers that have been mentioned a call tomorrow. Give them my spec down the phone, and see what they say about build-time, deposit etc.

To be honest, a lead-time of 2-4 months would suit me quite well financially anyway. So I'll see how I get on tomorrow.

That's very useful thank you, I'd like to keep the deposit low if possible. I'll probably give them a call tomorrow along with Gordon Lamb and Burnham's in Lancaster. Quite looking forward to it actually as it'll feel like I'm getting somewhere.

Thanks for that, I'm actually moving to Scarborough in a couple of months so that could be the most convenient so far..

I have dealt with Phil at Armstrong Massey in York for the last seven years ( two Freelanders and collected a new Evoque on Saturday) Great service and follow up attention and good deals without pushing for them.
I live in North Yorkshire but further from them than you will in Scarborough so it should be worth a try.
