Rear Camera

As more articles come out since the launch last week, I have read a couple of times that the rear camera is standard. I had especially pre ordered the camera and paid $670 extra for it.

Anyone else in Australia paid extra for a rear camera or have been told it is standard ?

in uk, camera is not std on pure - obv can't say 100% for aus

When i went to get a price last week on a dynamic the rear camera was an option... and I had to get front sensors as well if i wanted the rear camera

I had to pay $670 for the rear camera.

Although my dealer didn't tell me I had to add the front parking sensors... lets hope he hasn't messed that up!!

Camera is not standard on Pure.. reverse sensors are..

and your correct, front sensors need to be added as well as they are not standard

yep I paid $670 for rear camera and also had to add front parking aid which was $620.

Looks like the media are wrong. The LR configurator has it as an option

well, my dealer hasn't mentioned anything to me about the front parking sensors.

He said the front parking sensors are only necessary if you use park assist or the surround camera system. He said the rear camera only requires rear parking sensors.

If he calls me and tells me there's an error with my build... I'll just tell him that he stuffed it up... and that I should get front parking sensors for free
