Real world mpg

I can't believe how long this thread is. The facts are, the Evoque is not as economical as we had all been led to believe, fuel prices are way to high, but, we are in the fortunate position to be able to spend £30-50k on a car, so I am sure that you can cope with a few extra quid on fuel.

This thread is about the experiences people are having with their Evoques regarding mpg, Good, bad or indifferent, (mines indifferent to good). Yes we are lucky, but some people need to let of steam as the Evoque is Marketed as 49.6mpg, and these days with the price of fuel, mpg does and should affect your decision of what car to buy. This thread is about pooling collective knowledge to know you haven't a problem specifically, share ideas, it's great the thread is so long and many people are wishing to partake... Don't like, don't partake...

37mpg average overall, SD4, reasonably easy driving with only a little motorway. When on Motorway at steady 60mph I have seen the mpg climb to 47mpg when trip reset a short way before entering the motorway.

I've also noticed just how high revving the gearbox is at lower speeds - ever at the ready for a full power getaway (but in traffic where am I going to go!). So being light footed on the accelerator just keeps the Si4 in lower gears - using more fuel! By getting to the higher gears quicker I have improved my round town figure by 1.5 litres /100 km Smile

Agreed!

RE: Real world mpg

650 miles on the ed4, drove fairly briskly from north east to Lincoln and back today and got 44mpg, been getting around 41mpg last week in the first few days.

It seems to use a lot more if you go tonking along on motorway, then the mpg does really drop to 35ish

Ed4 pure 5 door, Fuji, pan roof, tech pack, privacy, fog lights, style 6 wheels, ebony interior, delivery 22nd March
