RE: Real world mpg

It is definitely cheaper to run than my previous car, less to fill up and lasts longer! having filled up in Devon returned home driven each day since and still not been near a fuel station!, Mind you the old car is so familiar its foot full in all the way! Still taking a bit of care with the new baby.

RE: Real world mpg

Filled up today after a week of lots of shortish local journeys 286 miles and 47 litres of diesel. I haven't been driving that economically, just normally.

Arrived. Prestige SD4 Auto 5DR OG September 11

Hi gomark, Obviously depends on many factors too, driving style and road types being huge factors, most of mine is large stretches of 50mph so best type and I'm enjoying the whole sedate luxury feel rather than ragging it in the limiter! hope yours heads into the thirties soon.

RE: Real world mpg

Filled up yesterday and the clock was showing an average of 31.2 mpg a combination of motorway at 70 and local commuting (40/60% split) so not too bad. I'm not getting much better consumption on motorway over commuting, max 35 mph on motorway.

RE: Real world mpg

Air-con uses plenty of fuel still doesn't it? I think I remember that being a massive issue with cars.

You guys using air-con?

5dr Evoque Dynamic Si4, OG. I love her, mostly.

Real world mpg

The thing is, we have all have had cars with radios and air con etc., etc., before the Evoque and had a certain driving style. All the relevant advice about driving accessories and driving styles would only be relevant if we were virgins to driving Wink

RE: Real world mpg

My aircon is permanently off it is Scotland, last fill up was 27.6 mpg with an average of 33 mph it's getting worse not better ,if that's not enough I found my first rust on my locking wheel nuts ,car returning to dealer in 2 weeks to see what can be done,
Before anyone starts yes I know I should just enjoy the driving experiance but when you have had the "real" rangerover tdv8 that can do 29 mpg you feel rather disappointed
