Real world mpg

36.15 on pure urban driving....slightly disappointing....but it is improving slowly....

True! Explains why I'm getting roughly the same range as the diesel.

Still, the Si4's tank is 12 litres less than the Discovery 4's that I'm doing my own comparison on - if I can match what that did while enjoying the benefits of a petrol car, all is good.

First refuel on SD4 Prestige mostly in city driving gave 28.5 mpg - long journey north over the weekend and i'm expecting high 30's given this is what i achieved with LRD4.

just over 200 miles into current tank of fuel and averaging 43mpg

Previous tankful 417 miles 54ltr = 35mpg

I think you should award yourself a smiley face for an average 43mpg

For the first 70 mile journey I averaged 47mpg staying on cruise at 62mph
