Range Rover SDV8 is a winner in Tow Car 2014 awards
The Caravan Club has announced that the Range Rover SDV8 Autobiography has won 2 of the categories in this years Tow Car awards - it won the Vehicles Over £51,000 category and the All-Wheel Drive Over 1800kg category. Other good news for JLR were the Jaguar XF 2.2D Luxury won the £31,000 - £41,000 category and the Jaguar XF Sportbrake 3.0D won the £41,000 - £51,000 category.
Arrived - SD4 Prestige, 5 door, manual in Orkney Grey with Element interior. Style 4 wheels, spare wheel & auto-dimming rear view mirror.
Joining MX-5 2.0i convertible.

No Disco4? First time in eons that it hasn't won!
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Land Rover entered a HSE Disco but because it costs over £51,000 it was competing with the new Range Rover and couldn't beat it. Perhaps they should have entered a lower spec' Disco then it could have beaten the Jaguar XF Sportbrake.
What did surprise me was that the Jaguar XF 2.2D Luxury beat the Freelander 2 SD4 HSE. If I was choosing a tow car between these 2 I wouldn't choose the Jag
