I think we may have just bought ourselves a "winner" here folks.

The 4x4 Magazine win was interesting - beat the Discovery 4, winner for the previous 2 years! Pretty much every major player was included from Jeep, Toyota, LR, BMW, Audi etc and the little Evoque managed to just pip the Disco for 4x4 of the Year.

Obviously there were far better pure off-roaders there but the Evoque won for being a great combo of road, off-road, luxury and design for its target market.

Epic list. I'm sure the Evoque will continue to win awards in the future.

It would be great if you could provide a link to each award too.

No 14 is a bit of a worry "best womens car":lol:

That looks like a clean sweep to me.

To counter line 14 you can add the IOL (Independant Online - the SAfrican part of the Irish media group) car of the year title to the list.

18 of the awards are from China...

Not long before we see the Chinese version coming to the market: iVoque, e-vong, ...

In the Swedish Auto Motor and sport they recently tested the X1, Q3 and SD4. The rating was in that order: X1, Q3 and last Evoque. The X1 got 4 out of 5. The Q3 and Evoque 3.5 out of 5. The cons on the Evoque was 38% higher mileage than specced (0.9l per mile IRL), very expensive extras (X3 and Q5 pricing for a X1/Q3 size), not RR quality level more LR. The engine seemed to be a general con both in mileage and slower than the germans. The pro of the Evoque was 5 out of 5 in looks, best luggage space. It was a close call with the Q3 but the engine and high price was the deciding factor why the Q3 got number 2.

In my mind, the looks and comfort of the evoque matter more than 0.9l/mile difference.

And what about the extras? pretty sure a panoramic evoque isn't available on any of the other cars, contrast roof isn't available on the other cars, dual view screens arent available on any of the other cars, interior mood lighting isn't available on any of the other cars.
