I understand all the jurnos are driving around Liverpool in Evoques today so we should start getting more comprehensive reviews soon.

I was really dissapointed with the Q3 when the first photographs came out. The concept was a great looking thing, however, unlike the Evoque, it's lost a hell of a lot of that design flair between then and the production version. Shame really as it would have definately been on my short list, then again though my list is now down to one anyway!

There will be also nice to read non UK magzine reviews of the Evoque... They tend to be more prone to UK vehicles, especially in comparison tests like this.

Some of the reviews stated the diesel engine was very qite, some said it was not that quite...

I was expecting to order a Q3 but have now ordered an Evoque

While the Q3 is cheaper, if you want leather 4wd and an auto box the price gets to within £2k of the evoque and the residuals are bound to better

I also think that Audi have played too safe and that in 3 years time the car will look really dated.

RRover have done what Audi didn't and deliver something close to the concept design and it's won me over

I was also toying with the idea of a Q3. Like has been said, when you spec one with a few toys, its's not much cheaper than the much more desirable Evoque. Due to demand for Evoque, I expect residuals to be better. Oh, and I don't have to go to a smug Audi dealer......

I do like the fancy lights on the Q3 though....

The Q3 is longer (only by 30mm) yet has quite a bit less boot capacity. I guess it has greater leg room.

Or a longer bonnet.

Just specced up an Audi Q3 as per a RRE DynamicSD4 Auto (from 190 bhp S-Tronic S-line) and came in within £250 the same as RRE. Quite surprised thought the Q3 would be quite a bit cheaper. I think Audi dealers will have to start offering discounts PDQ.

I would say th wait for a q3 is quite a few months too
