Pure with no upgrades

Not sure if you are aware?
I was'nt until today
Had a good scan of the technical training manual for the Evoque as per the technician training for PDI etc ....bloody workbook is THICK
Looking at the pure spec if you don't select one of the 2 upgrades i'e the meridian systems then you get a 80 watt system " Non Branded " with a much smaller centre screen in the centre dash
Reminds me of the Discovery 4 GS centre screen in terms of size and functionality

I think this hand book must cover other countries as well.

They get the 80 watt as standard.

They also get 17" wheels amongst other things

uk definetly has the meridian system. Was a big selling point of the car to me.

THe EU spec pure i am ordering includes 18" alloys and the meridian system as part of the tech pack. otherwise 17" alloys and 5" screen, also has half leather interior.

mind you starting price for ed4 pure is below £30k.

Though we can get the Si4 auto with pure spec which is what i am going for, this with tech pack, clear view pack, pan roof, privacy glass, leather and a couple of other bits is less than 34k, which i think is pretty good, on UK configurator similar spec (though auto sd4 as si4 not available) was closer to 37k.

Here in India we are getting Pure with 17" wheels and for Communication & entertainment (across Pure, Prestige & Dynamic) we get

8" high resolution touch screen
Bluetooth connectivity & audio streaming
11 speaker Meridian Audio sound system

We are not allowed to customize the trims, but are offered pre-customized Pure, Prestige & Dynamic. We are allowed to only choose the interior & exterior colors.
