TMC Again!!!

Does anyone know how to interrogate the TMC to actually tell you what the alert is? On the RRS you could go to TMC and it would say what the problem on the road was and sho you on the map. I cannot find anyway on the RRE to do that...it just say there is a problem, will you accept the divert...

After refusing the divert the system then goes back to the home page and not the satnav map!!!!

bloody useless like that!

does no-one else use or depend on TMC then????

I was reading the manual last night, you should too as there is a section on TMC and how to set it.
Press the tmc bit and it should take you through to its settings. I'm going to try that this morning. RTFM springs to mind, i've been caught out by not doing so on this car

I have read the mauanl Griff...always do...sad that I am. Go through to the TMC settings. nbut doesn't give option to interrogate the traffic situation...

if you are en route and in Nav if you press Nav Menu and then the "More" button you get through to TMC and if there are TMC issues en-route it will list them. Bit stupid - it would be so much easier just to press the TMC icon when its red.
