Playlist support on a USB stick?

Just picked up my MY13 last weekend and starting to get things sorted with it.

The first thing I did was to take my 16GB USB stick from my BMW and try it in the Evoque. Although I could browse and play files in the various folders, it can't seem to find the (.m3u) playlist files that I have in the root of the memory stick.

This seems pretty backwards and I was wondering if anyone has a solution to this other than creating folders and renaming files so that they play in the correct order? This also means that I would have to have the same file in two or three folders for different playlists.

Somebody please tell me that I can use playlists on a USB stick.

Thanks.

G.

No way I've found... just configured the directory structure suitably.

Thanks Phil, I feared that would be the case.
