Painting Silver Bits
Hi everyone
I am thinking of painting or wrapping the silver bits on my dynamic near the bumpers front and back, the parts that look a bit like "Bull Bars" - not the exhausts themselves but the silver bumper part around them.
Am sure there will be quite a few people here who have done this and I wonder if anyone can give me an idea of what is a resonable price for the job?
Thanks

RE: Painting Silver Bits
Would it not be more sensible (and cheaper?) to get them wrapped? Then could be put back more easily as well if needed? I've toyed with having mine wrapped gloss black but haven't taken the plunge yet!
5 door MY12 Fuji Dynamic Plus with shadow chromes, santorini contrast roof, power tailgate and a couple of added rattles!
Mods - Black RR bonnet vents, Side steps, Silicone rear wiper, rear sill protector, rear sill plates, LED interior lighting conversion, 2014 Sat Nav update.

RE: Painting Silver Bits
A mate of mine sprayed my "bull bar" bits for £260. Now this was done on the cheap for me, I would have thought the job should have costed around £400.

RE: Painting Silver Bits
I would have thought wrapping would be significantly cheaper (it actually quite easy to do yourself whereas painting isn't)
It has the added benefit of being easily reversible should you or a future owner change your mind and want to go back to original.
Regards
Mark

RE: Painting Silver Bits
LR dealer has quoted 250 for painting, guess I should try to find some wrappers
Any ideas who is good?

RE: Painting Silver Bits
I got a quote of getting the grey parts of my evoque wrapped and mirrors at £300. If you do find a good company that can wrap the car in London do let us know the more cost effective ones.
To get the whole car wrapped in roughly costs £1200-£1500 as I've found.
Pure SD4 Auto Black Tech pack, Pano roof, Powered tailgate, Dim rear view, Carpet mats & edging, Parking Assist Aid - Rear camera, Folding mirrors, Front Fogs, Auto Light, Rain sensor, Adaptive Xenons, Heated SW, Keyless entry and Privacy Glass arrived 13 Jan 12
