Order seems to have gone back!

Email fron nick@landrover for me today. She wants my number to call me. She has some "confirmation" re my order. Lets hope its confirmation of a good kind, not another delay.

Suppose it will be monday at the earliest when i hear as i only messaged her back a few mins ago and i would assume she doesnt work weekends.

At least you got a reply mate ... hope its all good news .....

Well spoke to Nick@landrover on the phone today. She seemed helpful and keen to help. The end result however is my car is still due to arrive at the dealers on 10th april, still later than 26th March i was told a while ago. She said a goodwill gesture would be considered if my car arrived after 26th March and only then.

ED, what build date have you been given?

It was 9th March, delivery 26th march. Now the delivery has gone back to 10th april, I have no idea what the new build date is.

Hmmm, We have been given 16 March build date, should have been here for 1 March, but dealer said to me once its built we should have it very soon after, ie within a week, better had do we are on holiday on 6 April, and we should be going in the Evoque!!! Dealer is aware and is on the case!! He has been excellent so far

Good luck, I am away to Noray for a week 20th March and whilst the evoque wasnt going it would be nice to have it before i go.

On second thoughts, maybe not. The girlfriend used my scirocco last year when i went away and when i came back it needed a new abs wiring loom and had to go to the dealers for a week!! Perhaps the 28th March might be a good day to get it lol
