No1 - on a Saudi plate

Yes driving into Bur Dubai from Jebel Ali tonight and driving sedately along at the speed limt among the latest Maclarens and Lambo's was a fairly elderly looking dark metallic green V8 Kompressor powered AMG G-Wagen on a plate with the gold numeral 1 on it. Not an Emiratii plate but a Saudi plate. No outriders or showiness it was cruising on the motorway with all the other cars, no heavy tinted windows and just a driver and passenger.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: No1 - on a Saudi plate

Super cool vehicle, I have always wanted a G wagen but will need a little longer to persuade Mrs Claud that I NEED one in addition to a V8 Defender. It will take a while to make my case.....
